We're proud to announce that the first-place winner in each category will receive a brand-new PC! Don't worry if you were unable to secure a ticket to the event; art contest entries will be accepted regardless of Fan Festival attendance. So get those creative juices flowing and have your masterpiece ready for submission by the November 23rd deadline.

We wanted to remind everyone that Arena season 4 is coming to a close. During next Tuesday's maintenance on November 11th, all arena teams, as well as ratings, will be wiped and arena charter NPCs disabled. However, arena points will persist until the beginning of the next arena season, or until a player reaches level 71. Thus, Arena points will be rewarded for rated games played this week and players will be able to purchase Arena items that do not require a team or personal rating. Upon the close of Arena season 4, players at level 70 will continue to be able to play skirmish Arena matches against other level 70 opponents even after Wrath of the Lich King launches. Arena season 5 is currently scheduled to begin on December 16th, and once that happens players who have reached level 80 will be able to compete in rated arena matches where they can gain arena points which can be used to purchase level 80 arena gear, as well as compete for end-of-season rewards. Players who remain at level 70 after Season 5 begins will only have access to play skirmish arena matches against other level 70 players. However, two new skirmish brackets will be made available (71-75, 76-80) for players who wish to hone their arena skills while leveling in Northrend.

According to the Herald, patch 1.04b lands tomorrow morning. Servers are coming down at 7:00am EST for patching (Oceanic to follow at 9:00am). All servers should be back online by 1:00pm. * When conquered, Keeps will always provide three gold loot bags and Fortresses will now offer six guaranteed gold loot bags as part of the chest loot. * Rally Masters have been added to all warcamps. Now, players can set their rally point in a warcamp in the same manner as binding in a chapter hub. * To promote population balance among the various scenarios, we have added a feature that reduces the number of times a specific scenario can launch in a short period of time. This will give scenarios which are launched less frequently an opportunity to catch up in the queue population and launch more often.

NCsoft evasive on Aion Vision video News

Hi, guys! Have you heart the news about the vision video recently? Let’s get an eye on this news:“Nowadays, NCsoft’s western arm has offered its first official comment on the Aion Vision trailer that surfaced a couple of weeks ago, which appeared to highlight the upcoming features of an expansion pack or updates for the MMO. As you might expect, the Eye on Community post doesn't offer anything firm. ‘We're not ready to confirm specifics on features shown in the Aion vision trailer,’ the statement said. But NCsoft did indicate that the features are at different stages of development, indicating that they might not all arrive at once. ‘As you can tell from the trailer, the development team is hard at work on evolving the Aion experience in unique and innovative ways. Some of the features highlighted in the trailer are further along in the development process than others. Because of this, we aren't ready to share or speculate on timeframes.’ We’ll have to make to make do with that for now.
